ResourceMFG has a great opportunity for a Maintenance Technician within a aerospace manufacture in the city of Moorpark, CA.

Hours: 7am – 3:30pm
Monday – Friday

Job Description
Responsibilities
The Maintenance technicians must possess basic knowledge of electricity and electrical components; basic computer knowledge, ability to read blueprints and schematics, demonstrate the knowledge and ability to employ safe work practices. The equipment used in the test lab may include, but is not limited to:
- Thermal vacuum systems
- Cryogenic pumps, Turbo molecular pumps, dry mechanical pumps
- Thermal chambers
- Vibration equipment (shakers)
- Mechanical shock machines
- Primary responsibility will be the repair and preventative maintenance of environmental test equipment. The technician will need to be able troubleshoot, procure replacement parts (as needed), schedule and perform preventative maintenance and document all work done on the test equipment. Occasional heavy lifting and overtime may be required.
Preferred Skills:
- Reading electrical and mechanical schematics
- Electrical test equipment (AC/DC)
- Understanding of Pneumatic valves
- Ability to sweat and braze copper fittings
- Microsoft Office Suite

- Education: High School Diploma with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a relevant field/discipline
- Candidates must be able to work both independently and in a team environment and interface with individuals at multiple levels in the organization.
- Interpersonal skills: This is required to clearly communicate with other employees and build relationships with employees, supervisors/managers, customers, as well as outside contractors
- Communication skills: They require oral and written communication skills to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. It is also required for writing routine reports and correspondence
- Troubleshoots and repairs various mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment and systems involving the isolation of the malfunction parts, disassembly of equipment and repair/replacement of faulty components
- Physical requirements – the job requires some standing, ability to balance, lift hardware up to 25 lbs. and ability to work in a limited space or area.
