This is a non-exempt position that reports directly to the Kitchen Manager and indirectly to others in management.Essential Job Functions* Interact with co-workers in a friendly, enthusiastic and professional manner (i.e., a warm smile and sincere greeting)* Regular attendance and compliance with employee handbook and training manuals* Understand and executes highlighted production sheets in order of priority* Execute all recipes to the letter in a timely manner according to Eureka’s standards* Maintain and deliver all “backups” at proper temperature to appropriate area* Operate kitchen equipment in a safe and efficient manner* Maintain clean and dry building* Maintain sanitary prep areas* Clean and organize walk-in, dry storage and freezer on a regular basis* Label, date and rotate all prepped items in accordance with Eureka’s Shelf Life specifications* Maintain adequate product par levels* Organize daily deliveries in proper storage areas* Assist Dish station and Line functions, when neededQualifications* At least 18 years of age* Food Handler Safety Training CardEquipment Used* Slicer* Convection Oven* Gas Range* Buffalo Chopper* Salad Cutter/Spinner* Combi-Oven* Holly Matic* Potato Cutter* Alto-Sham* Tilting Skillet* Steam Kettle* Robot Coup* Knives/Knife Sharpener* Meat Grinder* Filter Machine* Wand Mixer* Trash CompacterPhysical Demands and Work EnvironmentPosition requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, lifting products and supplies, and repetitive hand and wrist motion; working with and around hot, cold, and hazardous equipment in a fast paced and congested environment that will occasionally be loud, hot and/or physically demanding.At-Will Statement & Job Description DisclaimerThis position is at-will.
