nnCheckmarx is seeking a talented Sales Engineer to support our sales activities in the Boston/New England area.nn nnThis position will be primarily responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working in tandem with the sales team as a technical adviser and product advocate.nn nnThe ideal candidate must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users, as well as ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle.nn nnCheckmarx is looking for a self-motivated individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and is accustomed to travel.nn nn n nn nnResponsibilities:nn nn
• Manage and coordinate the technical requirements in the Sales processnn nn
• Present and drive technical demonstrations of the Checkmarx solution in the face to face meetings, conventions, and web sessionsnn nn
• Enable and work with multiple technical users from multiple channels/partnersnn nn
• Convey customer requirements to the Product Management teamsnn nn
• Design implementation of solutions according to customers’ technical requirementsnn nn
• Deploy and implement Checkmarx solutions, from the planning of acceptance, through installations and resolving of deployment issuesnn nn
• Respond to functional and technical elements of RFI/RFPsnn nn n nn nnTravel required (up to 25% or more at peaks, when business travel is back to normal)nn nn n nn nn Requirement: nn Experience in the Application Security field Sales Engineering experience preferred.

Technical writing experience would be considered an advantage Excellent face to face, business partners, and large audience presentation skills Excellent team and autonomous work capabilities A background in the software security industry including penetration testing and code review is highly preferred nn nn
