Director of Finance/HR

Ref ID: 00868929 Classification: VP/Director of Finance Compensation: $95000.00 to $105000.00 yearly
his position will lead the finance department and direct internal and external financial reporting, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, general accounting, investment and cash management policies, fixed assets, inventory, and budgets.

The Finance Director will be responsible for developing accounting procedures that support the internal departments in their various program activities and service delivery.

The position plays the lead role in directing the agency’s budgeting and financial performance measuring across all of its business lines as well as agency wide.

Responsibilities for the Finance Director include…
oversight of payroll, the general ledger, and other accounting functions strategic planning process improvement Board reporting cash projection reporting manage accounting for government/foundation grants monthly financial statement prep 403B audit oversight and more

Job Requirements:

Nonprofit accounting understanding “Can do attitude” Moments for emergency management that require you to roll up your sleeves and learn new skills Ability to stay grounded and stick to financial standards
Nice to have’s:
Extensive experience working with nonprofits Knowledge of fund accounting, GAAP, and FASB requirements as applied to nonprofit organizations CPA Experience with QuickBooks/Excel Appreciation for artistic culture, flexibility, humor
