Overview

A Processor’s main responsibility is to handle the initial review and drafting of the documents requested by Geraci’s clients, prior to sending them out for attorney review.

The Transactional Team’s Processors act as liaisons between clients and attorneys.

They are expected to communicate with the Firm’s clients to obtain necessary materials and information to process and prepare documents in a quick and timely manner.

They are expected to meet all deadlines set by themselves and by the attorneys; and to be able to accurately identify any issues within the documents provided to them, and notify the appropriate parties accordingly.

Responsibilities

· Autonomously engage with our clients to inform them of our pricing and what is needed to begin drafting the documents

· Set up new matters on Prolaw (our internal legal software) and our shared drive

· Effectively communicate with clients and attorneys throughout the document drafting process to inform them of any errors found within the documents, or any additional information that might be needed

· Draft the first set of Loan Documents (or other related documents) for attorney review and send them to the client when finalized

· Help out with loan closings as applicable

· Complete document reviews for online clients prior to sending them to the attorneys

· Assist with Foreclosures (if applicable)

· Work with accounting on collecting and reconciling payments

· Assist in administrative tasks

· Assist or Lead Friday Team Trainings when capable

· Attend all meetings as scheduled

What skills and experience do we want and need?

– Entry level position, mortgage loan processing experience is a plus

– Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

– Superior communication skills (both verbal and written)

– A desire to work in the real estate finance industry

– Ability to effectively manage multiple ongoing projects

– Familiar with HotDocs, Google Docs, or similar document creation software is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
