The Technical Accounting Consulting group (TAC) within BRS assists clients with addressing complex accounting and financial reporting issues.

For example, TAC is helping clients implement the new revenue standard (ASC Topic 606) and the new lease standard (ASC Topic 842).

We also address other complex issues, such as business combination, consolidation under variable interest entity guidance, debt and equity instruments, and stock-based compensation arrangements.

Most importantly the BRS group is a fun, close-knit group that is rapidly growing, with ample room from growth and career development.Individuals who thrive at Moss Adams exhibit the following success skills – Collaboration, Critical Thinking, Emotional Intelligence, Executive Presence, Growth Mindset, Intellectual Curiosity, and Results Focus.**Responsibilities** :+ Manage multiple concurrent engagements within the Technical Accounting Consulting (TAC) practice to provide technical accounting and financial or business advisory guidance to clients+ Demonstrate intermediate to advanced knowledge of complex accounting concepts+ Collaborate directly with firm specialists/subject matter experts on complex accounting matters+ Assist in the preparation of technical memos and other client deliverables+ Supervise Audit Seniors and Supervisors on engagement teams+ Oversee engagement economics and manage appropriate resources for efficient engagement models+ Anticipate and address client concerns and escalate issues as they arise; identify performance improvement opportunities+ Develop others within the TAC practice through mentoring, training and advising on career development or participating in other Firm initiatives+ Provide conversion services around financial reporting to GAAP or IFRS**Qualifications** :+ Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required; Master’s degree preferred+ 4 years of experience in external or internal audit, internal control testing and documentation, internal control assessments, and report writing required+ CPA, CIA, and/or CISA required.

If not certified, must meet educational requirements to obtain CPA license upon hire in state of employment+ Previous experience in auditing or reviewing quarterly financial reports, analyzing business risks, implementing new compliance standards and risk assessments required+ Previous experience in a public accounting firm required+ Recent Internal Audit and SOX 404 compliance experience required+ Previous experience handling multiple engagements simultaneously, while providing leadership and management over professional staff preferred+ Willingness and ability to travel up to 30%Here, you’ll be challenged and rewarded for leadership, technical excellence, and inspired perspectives.
