The Proposal Writer prepares a cohesive and comprehensive response to requests for proposals (RFPs) and requests for information (RFIs) for public entities such as state government agencies, local government agencies and various public departments. In preparing the RFP response, the Proposal Writer collaborates with leadership across all Company business lines to gather information to prepare an accurate proposal response. As a direct member of the marketing department, the Proposal Writer must also translate the strategic direction and vision of the Company within their RFP responses and stay up to date on the Company’s initiatives.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Word, PowerPoint, Excel and graphic presentation and layout skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment – This position will rely on the broader marketing department and public entity business segment for support.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Bachelor’s Degree
