Our Performance Simulation teams provide, develop, and maintain high fidelity performance simulations, evaluate system performance, support new business initiatives and develop & execute technology roadmaps.Responsibilities to Anticipate :You will work in a team environment on diverse projects providing innovative approaches and solutions to create high fidelity simulations and models for missile component and system design, performance assessment, and flight test support, trade studies and analysisYou will provide technical and schedule direction for the simulation products of a specific program, preparation of detailed plans (including task objective, expected output, budget requirements and schedule for projects), and interact with government counterparts as an authority on simulation productsYou will collaborate with Guidance, Navigation & Control (GNC), Signal Processing, and other performance personnel to perform simulation activities according to the program scheduleYou will provide technical expertise for the simulation products of a specific program, and assist junior Modeling Engineers with their tasking and preparation of detailed plansQualifications You Must Have:Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM degree and a minimum of eight (8) years or more of documented work and/or academic experience in the following areas (an advanced degree may satisfy 3 years of work experience):o Programming in C++, C, or other high order languageo Using MATLAB or Python for evaluation of data setso Experience developing or simulating physical systemso Academic or work experience in modeling, simulation, statistics, or evaluation as related to understanding the behavior and performance of existing or proposed engineering solutionso Two (2) years of experience managing others in engineering and interfacing with other engineering disciplinesThe ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date.
