Marians offers Santa Maria Valley residents access to the most advanced technologies an expanded and enhanced Emergency Department Critical Care Unit neonatal intensive care unit and an array of womens services.ResponsibilitiesAbout This PositionIn keeping with Marian Regional Medical Center health care philosophy the Clinical Care Technician performs assigned duties to support the NICU. The Clinical Care Technician serves as a unit receptionist transcribes orders orders tests orders supplies inventory and coordinates unit telephone communication. Assembles and maintains all files of NICU. Performs hearing screens. Documents accurately on designated forms. Maintains the NICU log book and assists in data collection. Maintains clean and organized NICU environment. Re-stocks patient-care supplies before end of shift. Completes delegated unit assignments. Attends 80% of staff meetings and reviews and initials minutes of remaining meetings. Reserve staff must read and initial 100% of staff meeting minutes.Selection CriteriaExperience in an acute care or NICU setting with in the previous two years. LVN Two (2) years experience. Basic keyboard skills computer literacy familiar with medical terminology and bilingual (english/spanish). LVNQualificationsExperience in an acute care or NICU setting with in the previous two years.
