The Strategy and Transformation Manager at The Walt Disney Company will drive critical initiatives for the division of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products, to meet long term plan goals related to our Sourcing and Supply Chain teams and leaders. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Strategy & Transformation, we will focus on the crucial initiatives that unlock the next wave of short-term and long-term growth in products, while delivering innovation, increased value and leverage to the organization.

You Will:

On any given day as a Strategy & Transformation Manager, you might:

  • Support and drive strategies for long term growth (Ex: Source Country Diversification, Materials Sourcing, Long Term Cost Mitigation)
  • Assist manager(s) in moving work forward in specific and outlined areas of focus
  • Partner with leaders to assess needs, outline approach, develop key messages, and build content for meetings & presentations
  • Build Senior Executive level communication across platforms (including PowerPoint and Keynote) with clear and concise messaging
  • Lead day-to-day processes including critical timelines, meeting notes and action items, and proactively identify constrained resources, conflicting priorities, and scheduling issues
  • Maintain materials and related assets via a variety of platforms
  • Develop a strong awareness of the global merchandise business, including knowledge of licensed, vertical, and flexible business models
  • Build Line-of-sight visibility and critical connection across Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products
  • Collaborate and form effective relationships with a broad audience of key team members and partner groups
  • Build and maintain a positive team environment
  • Contribute to a culture that champions teamwork, creativity, inclusion and innovation while driving accountability to results

You Will Have:

Here’s what you’ll need to be successful at this job:

  • 5+ years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Strong communication skills, including proven influence, communication, presentation, and public speaking skills
  • Proven track record to handle confidential information
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint/Collaboration Workspace

Preferred Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree

Preferred Experience:

  • Project management experience
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Six Sigma Certifications and/or Change Agent experience
  • Work experience related to Sourcing, Product Development or Supply Chain functions

Additional Information: This position can be located in either Kissimmee, FL or in Glendale, CA.

The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA, is $101,926 to $136,730 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
